The days are getting shorter, the nights and mornings a little chillier. This could only mean one thing…football season is here! Tis’ the most wonderful time of the year.
Baltimore Ravens fans everywhere may still be reeling from last Thursday night’s loss to the Denver Broncos, but as former Defensive Player of the Year Terrell Suggs put it on Twitter, “All this means is that we won’t go 16-0.”
“We know we can play better,” he added. “Let’s go to work. Ravens on three: one, two, three, RAVENS!”
Leave it to Suggs, the team’s resident jokester, to put things into perspective. The season is not lost. In fact, the season is just beginning. There have only been two teams in NFL history to go undefeated in the regular season. Thursday’s loss to the Broncos just means the Ravens won’t be the NFL’s third undefeated team. So don’t lose hope. Continue to celebrate Purple Friday. Continue to support the Ravens.
