Easter Sunday is less than a month away, and Wockenfuss has all of your Easter basket needs covered. Here are a few tips for arranging a delicious Easter basket for your family and friends.
First, Choose Your Treats
Choose two to three different small candies as your base. These tiny treats, such as jelly beans, will make up the majority of the basket. They’ll serve as the base of your basket, so you want to make sure you have enough to cover the bottom.
Pick one or two medium-sized candies and one large goody as the main event. The medium-sized candies (chocolate eggs or Easter pops) create fun dimension to the basket; the large dessert, aka the Easter bunny, serves as the icing on the cake. An Easter basket isn’t complete without the Easter bunny!
Second, Pick Your Basket
Choose a container that your child may also use for the Easter egg hunt. If you’re creating a basket for an adult friend or family member, splurge on an attractive woven basket that he/she can use in the household once the candy is gone.
Third, Create Filler
Plastic grass is harmful to the environment. This year, opt for colorful paper grass instead – or try cotton balls! By pulling the soft cotton into small pieces, you can imitate a fluffy cottontail without harming the planet. Green construction paper cut into small pieces can be woven throughout the base of your basket.
Fill it with your candies of choice! Make sure that you do so carefully, as cream-filled chocolates can break under the weight of heavier candies.
